Jean Amos
June 3, 2008 – 8:19 pm by Nicholas
Sad news to share from executive board member Robert Porterfield:
It is with great sorrow that I tell you that Jean Amos (1929-2008) died May 29 at 1:00 p.m. Close friends and family were with her. She was strong to the end.
Jean was a committed Democrat, a strong Obama supporter, and someone who always knew the future was perfectable. Her optimism and belief in the polical process, always tempered with realism, shaped all of her actions and beliefs. Additionally, she had a wicked sense of humor and a sharp intellect. She cared for and about people, as exemplified by her long professional career in health care.
We will all miss her very, very much. Friends are hard to acquire and even harder to lose.

Services are planned for Saturday, June 28 at 2 p.m., Prospect Church, 1919 E. Prospect Street, Seattle
