Food Drive for the Rainier Valley Food Bank

The 37^th District Democrats will be supporting the Rainier Valley Food Bank (RVFB) in a special challenge to fight hunger by holding a Food Drive at our General Membership Meeting April 13. The RVFB will receive a match for donated money or food items in the months of March and April from the Feinstein Foundation through their Feinstein Challenge grant.  So please bring either your checkbook or some food items to the April Meeting.

Food Drive Grocery List

The RVFB is in most need of healthy, high-protein foods, fruits and vegetables:

• Canned chicken, tuna and salmon
• Stews, chili and hearth soups
• Canned vegetables and fruits
• Dry or canned beans
• Peanut Butter
• Baby Formula
• Rice or whole grain Pasta
