July 13 2009 General Memebership Meeting

Summer is here and we have a Primary election coming up in eight weeks; which, of course, means it’s time for GOTV.  We will be spending most of our meeting hearing from Pam Keeley, our Third Vice-Chair, about the GOTV strategy and calendar.  It is important that every PCO attend this meeting as we will be distributing walk lists, sample ballots with our endorsements and literature from endorsed candidates.  For more information click here.

In addition to GOTV activities we will be hearing from the candidates running for King County Assessor.  We have decided to have a Special Endorsements Meeting at our August 10 Membership Meeting to endorse candidates in this race . 

Also Michael Wolfe, our First Vice-Chair, will be presenting  new communications policies and procedure guidelines for approval by the membership.  To download a copy of the Communications Policies and Proceedures in Word format click here.

 The July meeting will be held at the Rainier Valley Cultural Center, 3515 S Alaska St., Seattle. Social half-hour begins at 7:00pm, the meeting is called to order at 7:30pm.
