Dailing for Dow

October 20, 2009 – 9:04 am

dow_logo_may_final 138x100Democrat Dow Constantine and Republican TV news anchor Susan Hutchison couldn’t be more different.  But too many voters in this nonpartisan race are unaware of these differences and are supporting the TV news personality on the basis of name recognition alone.

Please join me in getting out the good word about Dow.  I’ll be leading

“37th District Tuesday” phonebanks on Dow’s campaign in South Park (Machinists’ Hall, 9125 15th Pl. S., Seattle) beginning on Tuesdays October 20 and 27, from 4:30-9 p.m.
As many of us are working to help ensure Dow’s victory, and resources can sometimes be tight on campaigns, please consider and let me know if you can do the following:
  • Donate the use of your personal laptop and cell phone for your own use while phonebanking — it helps extend the campaign’s capacity to reach voters and make the most of volunteer time. (Laptops help the campaign avoid back-end data entry.  We can always print paper call sheets if needed but cell phones help us tremendously if we exceed phone capacity.)
  • Bring snacks and treats to share — we’ll be working hard, so a little nosh will help keep us going!

To sign up for a shift, simply reply to this e-mail (info@37dems.org) and let me know!
