June Membership Meeting Minutes

Minutes are only posted after the Executive Board has voted to approve the minutes at the following Membership Meeting.  The minutes for the June Membership meeting were approved at the July Membership Meeting.


6-12-17 37th LD Dems Meeting Minutes

7:05p Meeting called to order and Flag Salute
7:06 Introduction of Tandy William and Caesar Robinson as Sgt at Arms.
Gwen Wrench permanently appointed as Parliamentarian.
Chair appoints Tandy Williams to be future At-Large member of Executive Board.
7:08 Chair reviewed code of conduct. Please take conversations out to the hallway.
We are still in middle of endorsement process. Will not move on to regular meeting until finished with endorsement process.
Motion made regarding moving election of 3rd Vice Chair to endorsements meeting. Ruled out of order.
7:12 Chair moved to appoint Monica Drake PCO of SEA 1944, Sandra Smith-Jackson of Campbell Hill, Tomika Ross of Shamrock to be acting PCO of SEA 3694
7:15 Tomika rose to speak on behalf of her appointment. Other appointees were not in attendance.
7:16 PCOs were appointed after motion, second and unanimous approval.
7:17 Motion and second to approve agenda. Agenda approved by unanimous approval.
7:18 Round 3 of Mayoral Endorsement Balloting commences. Bob Hasegawa and Jenny Durkan and No Endorsement are valid votes.
7:20 Ballots dispersed and collected.
7:26 1st Vice Chair Cross announces Member Inventory and Outreach Program. To engage with new members and receive feedback from all members the E Board will begin calling members to discuss the future of the 37th LD. All members will have the opportunity to discuss their thoughts and ideas with E board members to create a long-term agenda.

First training by doing session will be July 1.
Member announced that this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Pratt Park there is a voter registration drive. Anyone can come and help.
