May Endorsements Meeting Minutes

Minutes are only posted after the Executive Board has voted to approve the minutes at the following Membership Meeting.  The minutes for the May Membership meeting were approved at the June Membership Meeting.

Michael Wolfe rises to nominate Alec Stephens for Chair. Second.

7:04p  Motion to suspend rules to allow Acting PCOs to vote. Chair ruled out of order per bylaws of LD, County, and State organizations.

Eligible voters are PCOs, appointed PCOs, acting PCOs, and dues paying members (no later than 25 days before now).  A candidate is only eligible based on a Members motion and second. Candidates have 1 minute followed by 30 seconds for, 30 against, 30 for, 30 against.

 

Ballots are open ballots. A spoiled ballot where you vote for someone who has not been nominated. No endorsement is always a valid choice by our rules, even without a formal nomination of “no endorsement.”
